Alanya Paragliding With Experienced Pilot's

Alanya is located in a geographically favorable location for paragliding, with two different takeoff points available. One takeoff point is at an elevation of 380 meters, while the other is at 800 meters. At Pirate Paragliding, we prefer the takeoff point at 800 meters to ensure our customers have a better experience.

How long does paragliding last in Alanya?

The duration of paragliding flights in Alanya varies depending on weather conditions. A minimum wind speed of 10 km/h is required for takeoff from the paragliding runway. Flight durations typically range between 15 to 25 minutes when weather conditions are suitable.

Is experience required for paragliding?

Tandem paragliding is done with a professional pilot. The highly experienced and certified pilot will connect you in front of them, and takeoff occurs after a short run of 1-2 meters. Since the pilot handles both takeoff and landing, no prior experience is necessary for paragliding. Depending on weather conditions, your pilot may allow you to control the paragliding wing during the flight.

Will photos and videos be taken during the flight?

Your pilot will record the entire flight as photos and videos. Additionally, 360-degree photos are often taken for you. You can choose to purchase these photos and videos after watching them in our office.

Is hotel transfer included in the ticket price?

Hotel transfers are included in the ticket price for locations in and around Alanya. If you request a transfer from more distant areas such as Side, Belek, Antalya, Muratpaşa, there may be an additional fee. Alternatively, you can come to our office on your own. Click here for the office location.

Is there an option for a female pilot? Yes, we offer the option of a female pilot. You can choose a female pilot by paying an additional fee of +10 euros along with the ticket price.

What should I bring with me?

1. You may need to run 2-3 meters during takeoff and landing, so it’s recommended to wear shoes that you can run in. (Flip-flops are not accepted)
2. Bringing sunglasses is advisable, as the light reflected from the sea can be bothersome to your eyes.
3. Items like a backpack with belongings can be placed in the locked safes available in our office for your flying comfort.

How will the process work after purchasing a ticket?

1. Wait in front of the hotel 5 minutes before the reservation time. We will pick you up from the hotel.
2. Arrival at the office and journey to the takeoff point with your pilot. This journey will take approximately 25 minutes.
3. Your pilot will provide information about the flight, and then the flight will take place.
4. Landing at Cleopatra Beach after the approximately 15-25 minute flight.
5.  Watch the photos and videos taken with your pilot at our office (You can choose to purchase them if you wish).
6. We will drop you back to the location where we picked you up.
